With reference to your circular telegram ending with your Para. 4, Loraine's Despatch to you No. 115 dated 16th February last, I have the honour to inform you that the Persian Government, which had previously intimated this Legation that the confiscated British passports of Haji Muhammad Hassan Maleki and his son had been sent to the Persian Consul General in India, has now informed me that instructions have been sent to the Persian representative in India to transmit the passports in question to the Persian Legation, London, for delivery to the persons concerned.
